My April 2015. Favourites

This is so tipical to say in web beauty world but I will say it nevertheless... Man, it is already May!!! May is my favourite month of the year and after a rough period in April, I am glad to start fresh. But I want to tell you which products and little things in my life made some hard April days look better.

Some of them you heard A LOT about before, but that is because I use them continuously and constantly for a good reason... I LOVE THEM!!

My number one among them would probably be Chanel Illusoire creamy eyeshadow. It might seem like an investment in the beginning but I got so much use out of it that it is probably one of my best purchases! And I still love it! Another well loved product which is also almost gone is Artdeco blush. I used it on its own and paired it with Hourglass Ambient Lighting Radiant Magenta blush which was my favourite during April as well. And my hair and I both loved Batiste Strength & Shine dry shampoo for those lazy or hectic days. It is ironic that every time I use it I get many compliments for my hairdo?!

April was a bit hard for me on personal field so I didn't wear or experiment with makeup and beauty products as much... But, I used several brow products which were amazing! I don't write enough about my brows or brows in general, but I do think that they really frame your face so having them done nicely is quite important, especially if you wear minimal make-up as I did in April. I always use eyeshadow to darken them up and fill in sparse areas, and for that I have been using my UD Naked palette for a while now. The colours I use are Naked and Buck, very nice brown/taupe shades, but now I also incorporated some Anastasia Beverly Hills products in my routine: Brow Wiz eyebrow pencil in the shade Taupe and Clear Brow Gel. They are both out of this world and I would really love for them to get a separate post on the blog!
And apart from brow products, with warmer weather I started to pay more attention on my oily t-zone and prominent pores. I used Dr. Brandt Pores no more primer which is excellent for all of you oily/combination skin people out there. Definitely needs to get its own space on my blog!

And my last two favourites are from a different category... I love jewelry, especially when spring and summer come, because that means that I am going to play more with colours. These two pieces aren't completely out there but one of them gives a subtle pop of colour which will not stay unnoticeable. I loved my Monica Vinader friendship bracelets...They are pricey (although I got a good deal on them) and to be honest, they maybe shouldn't be as pricey because they are made from silver, only gold plated, and the marjority of the bracelet are made out of textile fibers, but I still LOVE THEM!!!

Those were my April Favourites. What were yours???

Tell me…

Love, beautyandbrains007
